Tillinghast - English 18th century silver pair cased verge pocket watch, signed fusee movement, no. 357, with three-arm balance, pierced and engraved balance cock, silvered regulating dial and square baluster pillars, signed champlevé dial, with Roman numerals and outer Arabic five minute chapter, steel hands, plain inner case with maker stamp 'HN', the outer case lacking the original covering, 49mm (lacking glass)
Movement - runs but not consistently for any long period, so would benefit with a service.
Dial - some wear to the signature - see images.
Glass - no glass.
Hands - good, typical wear.
Case - inner case with no silver marks, visible silver test mark to the inside of the case, typical surface marks; the outer case originally would have had horn or tortoiseshell which has now been completely stripped - see images.
