More Information

For a roughly 200 year old guitar, the action is actually quite good (opinion). It can't really go any lower as the saddle for adjustment looks like one long fret inset into the bridge and it is already quite low. The fretted neck is generally quite playable although frets 9 and 10 on the low e string choke and I believe they are catching on the 11th fret so that may be a little high and need some work. Whilst this instrument was restored well in the 1960s I would still recommend taking this to a specialist luthier to set it up to your personal preference. There are 3 hairline cracks to the top near the bridge but generally appears in good condition. Please see additional images added to lot view for general guidance on condition.
