Pair of Chinese porcelain square tapering vases with circular flared rims, decorated with river scape and mountain panels on a powder blue ground, each bearing Kangxi four character marks to the undersides, on associated carved hardwood stands, the vases 8.25" high (2)
Private estate provenance, believed of good age and likely 19th century but our opinion and subjective whether they are earlier. Both vases appear in very good order, there are manufacture and firing spots imperfections across both which include around the interior upper flared rims, across the body, darker patches and some rough areas of raised to the upper corners of the body, age consistent and use consistent abrasions and wear around the foot rim sections, the decorated scene panels are good colour and definition, the two hardwood bases are likely a later addition and unrelated, the in fair condition and surface wear and abrasions across the top and corners etc, please see details and further additional images attached and a guide.
