Good Italian violin by and labelled Gianotti Alfredo opus fecit A.D. 1980 Milano and signed by the maker on the label no. 119; also bearing the maker's monogram on the button, the one piece back of wild flame with faint medium curl to the sides and head, the table of a medium width grain and the varnish of a light reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 14 1/8", 35.90cm
This violin is in excellent condition and we believe it is by the maker labelled but there are no certificates, see images for guidance
