Kloz, Mittenwald, An. 17, the two piece back of faint medium curl with similar wood to the sides, the head of plainish wood, the table of a fine width grain and the varnish of a reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 13 15/16", 35.40cm, within a W.E. Hill & Sons fitted oak case
There has been considerable restoration work undertaken on the table to repair a bass bar and other cracks, some over varnishing, the scroll has been broken off and re glued to the peg box, other more minor imperfections, see images for guidance, personal viewing advised
