Interesting violin circa 1820, unlabelled, the two piece back of faint medium/fine curl with similar wood to the sides and head, the table of a fine width grain and the varnish of a light reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 14", 35.60cm (at fault)
The back of this violin is slightly coming away from the sides on the lower bouts, there are some stress fractures also on the lower bouts at the table. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
