*This ukulele was appraised by The Museum of Ukuleles in Hawaii who stated the label was that of a retailer not the maker, also they confirmed it was rare and dated it to circa 1907

General condition is excellent and looks robust enough to be playable. The pegs have been replaced. The action appears to be good and sounds reasonable. If the label is correct then the wood should be Koa, but also seems to have mahogany characteristics with flame style and flecks. The provenance was given to the vendor, someone we know well and trust, in an email many years ago but is now lost.
