Condition:
Tuning now at a tone and a half below modern concert pitch.
Good working order but regulation of the action required.
Some dampers are not affective, but this should be rectified easily.
No signs of any structural problems. The new spine and wrest plank from 2011 make a strong instrument and the new soundboard is in good condition.
Observations noted in the condition report are based on obvious signs to the naked eye from an experienced restorer. They are designed for quick analysis of their condition, leaving interested parties to carry out their own personal inspection. Please note that actions have not been removed from instruments.
