*In 2013, Gibson Custom created the Collectors Choice #10, an authentic reproduction of Boston guitarist Tom Scholz's 1968 Gibson Les Paul that he used onstage and in the studio. The guitar features a 'naked' maple top, a Gibson P90 neck pickup and a DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker to the bridge. The body is one piece mahogany with a long neck tenon and features authentic hardware with Schaller M6 tuners

The aim of the Collectors Choice Les Paul Series made it possible to own a recreation of a specific guitar, working with a specific instrument and its owner to create a fully analysed and digitally scanned reproduction including accurate ageing.
