2017 Kay John British Hardwood Prototype electric guitar, made in England; Body: Forest of Dean red ochre stained British wild cherry back with British sycamore cap, featuring hand painted acrylic floral artwork to both front and back, the top bound with faux tortoise binding, finished with polyurethane gloss lacquer; Neck: oiled and waxed Welsh flamed sycamore with V profile; Fretboard: walnut with mother of pearl dot inlay; Frets: good; Electrics: working, early production Radioshop PAF humbucker pickups; Hardware: good, one piece Tune-O-Matic type stop bar, Grover tuners, graphite nut and bonnet control knobs; Case: Epiphone hard case; Weight: 4.10kg; Overall condition: good;



*Made by British maker Kay John in the Forest of Dean in 2017. This was his first prototype guitar, built from scratch with the intention to practice electric guitar building whilst assessing if his artwork would translate well onto a guitar. Kay's love of British woodlands inspired the use of only English and Welsh grown hardwoods. Sold with a handwritten note from the maker including the spec of the guitar
