B & E within an oval, no. 26644/58, striking on a gong fitted to the inside back of the case, the rectangular foliate engraved dial plate enclosing a plain dial with Roman numerals, within an inlaid and crossbanded stepped case, 12.5" high overall (pendulum & key)
