*This unique prototype guitar was made for Jeff Beck by Ibanez Japan, circa 1978, as an attempt to lure him into becoming a brand endorsee.
In 1980, Ibanez released the MC3000, a limited edition model based on this very guitar. This model was made in extremely small numbers (approx. thirty) and eventually discontinued a year later in 1981.
The guitar is housed in it's original fitted, visibly used heavy duty flight case.
