Good violin of the Prague School circa 1840, unlabelled, the one piece back of very faint medium curl with similar wood to the sides, the head of plainish wood, the table of a fine width grain slightly widening to the flanks and the varnish of a plum red colour on a golden ground, 14 1/8", 35.90cm
