local family inherited provenance but nothing documented, returned from India by vendors family member, a doctor who served in India and died 1860, further info unknown, scabbard lining and seam to the leather wrapping somewhat tired and in need of attentions, the handle with decoration but rather corroded as is the blade, some evident decoration to the blade but really quite corroded, see all images as a guide
