£750 - £1,000
Good French ormolu two train globe mantel clock, the Japy Freres movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, the globe dial with raised Roman numerals, surmounted by Cupid and doves, over the rounded breakfront base modelled with a reclining cherub next to various objects emblematic of the arts, under a glass dome and upon an ebonised base 22 1/2" high overall, (missing globe movement cover and no pendulum)
No serious condition issues but some attention required, the globe dial is missing the movement cover and the globe and movement need to be reattached to the base, also the cherub's left arm above the globe needs reattaching, there is also some gilding loss especially to the wooden stand. See images for guidance, personal viewing advised.
