Good English mahogany and inlaid three train longcase clock, the 13.25" gilded arched dial engraved overall with gilded flowerheads, signed Brice, Sandwich on a silvered arched plate to the floral engraved centre with recessed subsidiary seconds dial, surmounted by a chime/silent and Whittington chimes/Westminster chimes subsidiary dials, the movement playing on a nest of eight bells, the case with long wavy top door inlaid with boxwood lines and to the centre with musical trophies, flanked by quarter fluted Corinthian columns with cast ormolu capitals, with similar inlay to the base and surmounted by a moulded broken arched pediment and brass ball and eagle finial, 92" high (pendulum, three weights and keys)
