Thos Howard, London - George III silver gilt and horn pair cased verge pocket watch, London probably 1774, No. 2661, signed fusee movement with three-arm balance, pierced and engraved balance cock, silver regulating dial and square baluster pillars, enamel dial with Arabic numerals, beetle and poker hands, bulls eye glass, the gilt metal outer horn case with fern and pin work decoration, 50mm (the movement requires attention)
Movement - not currently functioning so will require attention.
Dial - surface marks present - see image.
Glass -light marks.
Hands - surface rusting, the minute hand tip slightly bent.
Case - inner case with wear to the gilding and also a visible repair tot he stem tot he inner case, the outer case with pin work missing, horn loss to the bezel at the 3-5 position, also the release button is worn - see images.
