£1,500 - £2,000
Good English triple fusee ebonised and ormolu mounted boardroom clock, the 7.5" brass arched dial signed Dent, To The Queen 33 Cockspur St London no. 30242, on a small arched plate beneath twelve o'clock on the matted centre, with subsidiary chime/silent and slow/fast dials to the arch, the substantial movement playing chimes on four gongs and striking the hours on a larger gong, within a rounded arched stepped case with Corinthian columns surmounted by four acorn finials, 20.5" high (pendulum and keys)
This clock is generally in slightly tired condition with cracks to the centre of the cornice and under the side panels, some minor marks on the chapter rings and dial plate, the mesh needs re-attaching to the back door and there is some loss of gilding on the mounts, we would estimate the age to be circa 1880, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible
