local inherited estate provenance, The work is in fully restored condition and has been re-lined cleaned restored and varnished.  There is evidence of discoloured restoration throughout the sky and down the right hand side edge. There are also signs of restoration within the central part of the composition including some over cleaning however the picture does still have impasto in places with some ingrained dirt still visible, contained within a 1970's or 80's gilt plaster and wooden frame.  There is one piece of plaster missing on the left hand side edge
