Mahogany eight day longcase clock, the 12" brass arched dial signed Joshua Rudd, Bradford on the silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial, ringed winding holes and a calendar aperture, the arch with a convex silvered engraved sun, the case with long door flanked by fluted canted columns and the hood surmounted by a swan neck pediment and brass ball and spire finial, 87" high (pendulum, two weights and winding key)
This clock is in generally good condition with only expected wear and tear for age, the case and the movement are possibly a sympathetic marriage, the case is of good colour but the dial does not seem to fit perfectly into the aperture, the maker Josiah Rudd is from Bradford on Avon (not Bradford), see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible
