William Tomlinson, London - English early 18th century silver and tortoiseshell piqué work pair cased verge pocket watch, circa 1720, signed deep plate fusee movement, no. 1478, with a sprung three-arm balance, finely pierced and engraved winged balance cock with broad foot, silvered regulating dial and Egyptian pillars, signed champlevé dial with a repoussé centre, with Roman numerals and outer Arabic five minute chapter, steel hands, bullseye glass, original numbered inner case '1478' and makers mark 'BI' (possibly Richard Bignell), tortoiseshell piqué work outer case, 55mm

Movement - currently functioning.
Dial - good.
Glass - good.
Hands - good.
Case - inner case in clean condition, the stem has been repaired previously and visible to the inner case; the outer case possibly not original to the inner - with some restoration to the bezel, the back as expected with some splits to the tortoiseshell, the release button is missing - see images.
