In original condition throughout, the picture has not been restored or cleaned, there is a scratch in the sky to the right hand side of the young boy on horseback, there are further blemishes, fly dirt and other forms of dirt together with discoloured varnish to the picture's surface, contained within an old Victorian gilt plaster and wooden frame.
