Interesting and unusual silvered gothic carriage clock timepiece, the 2.25" hexagonal chapter ring enclosing a foliate pierced centre over a relief panel depicting a religious scene with a seated angel and lady praying, the sides cast with twelve roundels depicting figures representing the agricultural months, the back with locking hinge door opening to reveal the movement with platform escapement, over a relief panel with figures seated by a gothic pedestal, surmounted by a pierced top section with hinged handle formed with griffins, 7.5" high
