Interesting and unique Gibson Custom Shop Original decorative ukulele made by Greg Rich & Jim Triggs and labelled Gibson, USA, ser. no. N991007, 2/9/91; also signed on the label, the back decorated with a lady in a bikini with small coloured stones on a pearloid, blue and green coloured background, inscribed Greg Rich 1991-007 on the middle edge of the lower bouts, the sides and fretboard with similar coloured stones and floral decoration within gold spangled bands, with further similar decoration to the head bearing the Gibson name in amber coloured stones and within a pink stone border, the reverse of the head inscribed Custom Shop Original, Greg Rich, Jim Triggs, 1991, within a bespoke plush lined fitted green wooden case inscribed 'The Gibson' in gold paint to the top.

** At the end of 1987 before Gibson had a Custom division Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz gave luthiers Greg Rich and Jim Triggs "carte blanche" to customise a few Gibson instruments and this is one example.
