Good English 18th century silver-gilt repoussé pair cased verge pocket watch, London 1769, the fusee movement signed Alex Anderson, London, no. 1405, with pierced balance bridge, flat steel three-arm balance, silvered regulating disc and square baluster pillars, ornate gilt champlevé dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic numeral chapter, fancy gilt hands and date aperture to the pierced mask centre decorated with a cherub on a silvered ground, the repousse outer case depicting a figural scene in a scroll border, 49mm
Movement - appears clean and currently functioning.
Dial - a nice mask dial where the numerals have probably been re-touched - see images.
Glass - good.
Hands - good.
Case - the inner case with mild bruising and some wear to the gilding, the outer case is a nice piece with typical wear to the gilding - see all images.
