She inherited it from her first cousin Gregg Allman (of Allman Brothers fame) and is a wonderful lady. She, at one time, owned a music store in Savannah, Georgia. To my knowledge, he was the first owner of the bass and it has been very well cared for. Annie just emailed and said he (Gregg) had the bass about eight years, so I would say it's a circa 2004-2005 Model'
