Vega four string banjo stamped on the perch pole Made by the Vega Company Boston, Mass U.S.A no. 9, and with Patent references for December, January and July, also stamped Tuba-phone and ser. no. 64867 to the perch pole side and inside pot wall, fitted with the Wurlitzer retail trade plate, the mahogany segmented resonator with satinwood and faux tortoiseshell banded sides, stamped again with the Vega company logo to the inside back, with 12" skin, foliate carved inlay to the heel and geometric inlaid and engraved mother of pearl devices to the fretboard and head, 28" scale length, hard case
