Interesting early 19th century 18ct alarm duplex pocket watch, London 1809, unsigned two train fusee duplex movement striking on gongs, inscribed 'Patent 101', with engraved balance cock, regulator and diamond endstone, enamel dial with Roman numerals and alarm indicator hand, unusual bell shaped bow, the case back with an engraved family crest and Latin inscription 'Fide et Labore' (Faith & Toil), case maker 'LC' (possibly Louis Comtesse).170.5gm, 58mm (the alarm function requires attention, case weight 88 grams approximately)

Movement - the movement appears running but the alarm work will require attention.
Dial - appears generally good condition- see image.
Glass - mild marks.
Hands - the hour hand and minute hands each appear slightly bent as shown in the images, not matching.
Case - a very nice case possibly adapted, with typical light surface marks, the back has a couple of very small bruises, approximately 89 grams in weight without the movement - see all images.
