Good Mittenwald violoncello circa 1880, unlabelled, the two piece back of faint medium curl with similar wood to the sides, the head of plainish wood, the table of a medium width grain and the varnish of a plum red colour on a golden ground, 29 3/4", 75.60cm, bow, soft case (small sound post crack in the back)
This violoncello has a sound post crack in the back and is generally in untidy condition with table cracks, scratches and missing areas of varnish all over. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
