Attractive pair of French porcelain and ormolu figural twin branch candelabra, modelled as putti figures holding flower stems, upon ormolu mounted porcelain supports decorated with floral cartouche panels on a pale blue ground in the manner of Sévres, 17" high (2)
There are no apparent back marks or stamps, but we cannot access the interior due to wooden inserts supporting the screw retaining the figure, the branch sconces are rather flexible so there is a good chance these have lost their shape from original though do firmly fix and seem present and correct, the figures are closely matched though differ in their wing types, the porcelain to one candlestick has a little crack through one floral cartouche, the other seems free from damages, there are water marks and stains various accross both showing signs of storage for some time, there is a little movement to the majority of the applied scrolled feet though seem secure, there is a little movement to both mounted figures where they seat on the circular supports, important please see detailed additional images for guidance
