Rosewood cabinet piano by George Peachey of London, with cylinder keyboard cover over a recessed beaded panelled base supported upon gadrooned turned legs terminating in brass caps and castors, surmounted by a beaded flat stepped cornice over a beaded framework flanked by circular pillars with foliate carved capitals, 78" high *Inscribed on a rectangular inset plaque centred above the keyboard on the crossbanded fascia board 'George Peachey, 73, Bishopsgate Street Within, London, by Appointment to Her Majesty' also stamped with serial number 816 to the top right hand corner of the sound board
