Interesting double bass circa 1900, possibly Italian and unlabelled, total length of back including button 47.25", vibrating string length 42.5", stop length 25"

There has been considerable restoration work undertaken on this double bass over the years especially with repairs to numerous cracks in the ribs on both sides, further restoration and over varnishing to repaired cracks on the table, also repairs to the head and a small missing piece of wood to the front of the scroll, see images for guidance, personal viewing advised where possible
